Molly Gordon was born on December 6, 1995, and was raised in Los Angeles to Jewish parents. She is the daughter of director Brian Gordon and writer-director Jesy Nelson.
She has been living in LA since childhood. Performed on stage and grew up with actor Ben Platt, with whom she starred in a production of Fiddler on the Roof when she was four, and how she entered the business at the age of five without really trying.
