David Koechner's full name David Michael Koechner is an American actor and comedian.

He is best known for his role as a champion in Anchorman Films and as Todd Packer in NBC's The Office.

Before joining Second City Northwest, Kochner first became involved in performance when he began

studying improvisational comedy at the Improvolympics in Chicago under the teachings of Del Close.

Koechner moved to New York City in 1995, working as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (1995–1996) and a sketch comedy with Conan O'Brien in the mid-1990s.

As a late-night sketch. In 1997, Koechner moved to Los Angeles and began working regularly in various film and television comedies,

first with small roles in films such as Wag the Dog, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, and Man Along. . Moon.

While shooting the country documentary film Dill Scallion in 1998, Koechner befriended actor/comedian Dave 'Gruber' Allen,

and eventually performed as a live musical comedy act in the comedy duo, The Naked Truck, and The T-Bones Show.

The act became a hit at Hollywood clubs such as Largo, and Allen and Kochner were taken over by Genius D in 2007.

In 2007, Kochner and El created and starred in the Naked Trucker and T-Bones Show sketch comedy series that ran for one season on Comedy Central.

Following his breakout role as Champion Kind in the 2004 comedy Anchorman,

Kochner appeared frequently in leading supporting roles in several high-profile comedy films, including Talladega Nights, Thank You for Smoking, Waiting. Semi-Pro Huh.

The Goods Live Hard, Tough Sell, and Extract. His first lead role as Coach Lambo Fields in Fox Atomic's sports comedy,

The Comeback, opened on October 19, 2007. Comedy Cramps and its dark twist

in the 2014 black comedy Chip Thrills received critical acclaim.

She co-starred in the sitcoms Bless This Mess and Superior Donuts and reappeared on Comedy Central's other period reboots and Showtime Twin Peaks.

He appears regularly on the ABC sitcom The Goldbergs and provides the voice of Dick Reynolds on American Dad! And Bob on F is for the Pogo family.
